Morning Duo

This small collection of ceramics consists of an egg cup and a matching thermo cup. It is designed for a small café that wanted to serve a simple breakfast in an aesthetically appealing manner. The cup has a thermal effect in the lower part that makes it easy to handle without burning your fingers. It still has a thin edge at the top, so it is comfortable to drink from. The cup has an inner clear glaze and partly glazed outer. The egg cups are without a glaze and the matte surface compliments the egg. When serving an egg in this design, the beautiful form of the egg is highlighted and the two merging shapes become a tiny sculpture on your morning table.
